I hear you! I read in an article last year that it essentially boils down to the fact when it comes to AAA movies, that the people that make the film are almost never in charge of making the trailers. So often times you will get trailers that completely miss the mark in terms of preserving such subtleties, in favor of simply choosing the scenes with the most punch.
