The stainless. It uses the ez-breach system which basically means that it doesn't require a tool to remove.

Indiana = No Rifle Hunting. That said, I do have a 7mm mag at my dads that is technically mine but neither of us ever shoot it for the reason mentioned earlier. I have an elbow injury that makes it difficult to draw a traditional bow but a new crossbow will be in my possession by Labor Day for sure as they just became legal for all hunting in Indiana. Good hunting to you as well.

150 grains worth of White Hot pellets with a 300 grain Powerbelt Aerolite bullets. I found this setup to be around -3" at 200 yds. The Aerolites are designed to be used with 100 gr of powder but I would guess that's because some guys don't like to shoot 150. I'm 6'4" and 325 lbs so I don't mind the bigger charge.

I load the Muzzleloading RIFLES with 150 grains of black powder behind a 300 grain .50 cal slug. I like the challenge of having one shot to take my deer because with a muzzleloader you rarely get a chance for a second shot. This is the means by which I secure the majority of the meat for my family of five, three of which are growing boys. Manly enough for ya?

I like it. It's picky about mags, though. I bought some 20 rd mags from Ruger which aren't cheap but are definitely the way to go. The 30 rd in the picture is a cheapo that came with the gun and it doesn't like it too much. Accuracy could be better. This is the old model with the thin barrel and I've read the barrel on the newer models has vastly improved accuracy.

I had the same trouble and basically threw this rifle in the cabinet and forgot about it. My boys are going to start getting in to hunting soon so I dug it up and had somebody give it a look. He cleaned up some tiny burrs that impeded normal operation (feed ramp, bolt guide slots, etc...) and it runs great now. The only ammo I've put through it since is CCI Mini-Mags and I haven't had a single jam. Not sure about finding parts for it.

The Big Cat shoots pellets of .22 caliber and it advertises 950 fps with the right ammo. The reason I like it is its a lot cheaper to shoot and you don't lose much stopping power from a regular .22 long rifle.

Kicks like a mule. I got it for $150 off a friend. Spartan is the name Remington puts on guns that they have Baikal out of Russia manufacture for them. It's great for what I paid but not necessarily top of the line.

That's my South Dakota (legal) road hunting Pheasant gun. Easy to get in and out of the truck quickly with it.

It's what I carry the most. Manageable recoil for such a small gun. Groups with Winchester White box are not as tight as I would like but it might be me more than the gun. I carry it in a Minotaur MTAC with a custom kydex shell I made. I hardly know it's there most of the time.

Did you have any trouble with the factory supplied scope holding zero? I'm having a tough time getting it just right.

I like it. It puts holes in stuff which is really all I bought it for. I'm not going in to competition with it but it's nice to have a semi-auto to mess around with.

They are Muzzleloaders. I live in Indiana and mainly hunt woods on field edges. Shots longer than 100 yards are sometimes necessary and, as you can see, I don't have a dedicated slug gun. I'm comfortable with at least a 200 yard shot with either of them.

Sizing the width of the drawers, slides and supports was the most difficult part. It took a little trial and error. The joinery would have been a little more difficult if not for the Pocket Hole Jig from Kreg. I highly recommend it. I used a table saw, power compound miter saw, router and router table, pocket hole jig, cordless drills, various bits and a nail gun. If you don't already have all that, you're going to have a bad time. For the materials I spent about $80.

The slides have built-in stops.

Not soft close yet. We will be refinishing the cabinets in the near future and probably installing some new hardware in the process.

It is a new kitchen, to us. We just took possession of the house on Sunday. We both agree that the cabinets need a new finish which will be happening in the new future.
