ok....scotts selection process comes into question because North have about 15 players who are 'up and comers' but don't arrive when the moment arises. Anthony is a ball magnet no doubt. Put him on any team and he will rack up 30 a game.. his disposal is shocking tho and you have to draw the line on disposals v turnovers. At least L.Hansen isnt getting picked this year purely and solely based on the fact he was picked #3 (ahead of the likes of J.Selwood)

They are not a team full of Archers. If they were they would be winning games. The recent high draft picks they have had have yielded Lachie Hansen, Atley, Cunnington, Zeibell, Mckenzie.. Of that list Zeibell and if you listen to him, Cunnington fall into the tough category. They are seriously lacking in steel if anything. I think your point is invalid. Their main problem has been they havent bottomed out like say Carlton, West Coast and St Kilda to enable them to get the 1 or 2 picks over a couple of years. Hence they continue to be a middle of the road team. As far as Brad Scott goes, he seems to have the perfect credentials to be a top line coach, tho I know many Roo fans are critical of his team selection policies.
