It's a great round, especially when it's suppressed. And if you're shooting under 100 yds there's no reason to have a 16'' barrel imo. My arms get tired after lugging a full size rifle around for a few hours. I use my setup, 12'' AAC barrel w/ AAC sdn-6, for hog hunting primarily and I have nothing bad to say about it.

Just got one Friday and took it out hog hunting that night. It's awesome! TNVC is a great company and Victor is a good guy. I use the aimpoint twist mount they sell on their site behind an aimpoint compM4s and it works perfect. I would recommend that over the LaRue as I haven't heard a lot of positive things about that mount. I went with the hand selected tube for a few hundred more because if you're dropping that much $ you might as well get the best. I'd also recommend a good IR flashlight for lighting up the shadows. Another option you might want to think about is thermal. The ATN Thor series is fairly new and pretty reasonably priced as thermal scopes go.

Sorry about that, but it can be fixed. I've heard that some guitar techs actually break them and glue them back so this won't be an issue. It may seem bad now, but it gets better.

Congratulations! You live in a state that allows suppressors/silencers. Here's a pretty informative article on the subject. I personally own 3, 1 in my possession, and 2 awaiting ATF approval. The process is lengthy, but painless. Hope this helps.

It was spam in disguise. There was one user in particular who posted multiple links to armslist. It was pointed out in his latest post (which has since been removed) and sure enough the same name was very high up on this list.
