Also put a good ruby gem in your weapon and it will make it much more powerful than any drop you could find at low levels.

Which is good since a crafting an item is considerably cheaper than buying on the auction house, but you gamble on the stats. This provides an incentive to try spending some gold there in the hope of crafting an item worth millions for a couple thousand gold.

Currently, you have to go on the auction house to transform your gold into crafting supplies, which is basically the same but with unnecessary steps.

I'd say it would be better to remove the material cost and keep the gold cost because I don't salvage anything anymore since gold is more valuable than material.

I think the main issue is that a lot of blues and rares are better than the end game legendaries, not only the extremely rare best rolled ones.

Part of the fun of hunting for items was seeing that green or gold item drop, but now it's not as exciting because you know it won't be that good.

I think a more reasonable fix would have been to reduce damage to 35% of max HP or X% of original damage, whichever is highest.

Whatever increases your dps the most (although in a tie I'd go with Int as it improves more than just damage).

Yes, most gear builds for wizards will apply for witch doctors as Int is the main attribute for both. The only difference would be class specific items.

I agree that it would be stupid to build a server farm to handle 100% of the players, but they knew many people would be trying to get in at the same time.

A queue of some sort or making the game available progressively to more and more people in steps could have helped. If the problems are gone by the end of the week, then I wouldn't consider the always online issue to be a huge problem.

There are at most 9999 different numbers for battletags, so many people will get the same numbers.

Basically, for you 2 to get the same number was a 1/9,999 chance (at most).

I'm with you, people are complaining about a gift to others. Nothing has changed on their side, they just don't want the others to receive something of little value (showing it doesn't mean the user was good or even participated, just that he was chosen for the beta). It's of little value and there's no reason to brag about it (unless your friends are whiners).

I don't care for the cam except when it covers interesting information, until a place can be found where it's non-obtrusive then it shouldn't be shown.

If it could be configured to fade-out when the mouse is in the bottom-right corner of the screen, it would be perfect.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna happen, people will want to take shortcuts. The price might be much lower than in the SC RMAH though since they are less permanent purchases (or possibly higher since the pool of items is lower, but I'm confident it would be lower).
