Where is best to get games in the UK? by kaoset616in boardgames

[–]compressedpenguin 0 points1 point ago

Tsuro should be becoming available in the UK (through such channels as everyone else has mentioned) somewhere around June/July, though as usual that's subject to change.

Did you see this?

Looks to be the cheapest option! The main board game distributor for the UK doesn't seem to stock it, which is making it difficult to get a hold of.

Small braids in Caucasian hair by shakespeare-gurlin TwoXChromosomes

[–]compressedpenguin 0 points1 point ago

I wouldn't think so. Using stuff like wax is what makes them hard to remove. Braiding and letting them go is a weird way to do it though, as you'd have the new growth dreading properly and the braided bits going much much slower. Good luck in your braiding endeavours!

Yeah, I was unemployed at the time so it wasn't bothering me thaaat much.. I could have done it faster but it would have made my arms ache!

Basically you do nothing to your hair except wash it. It does look messy for a while, depending on how unruly your hair is in general, but people tend to do it for the experience. It's quite cool to see what your hair does without your guidance, but definitely not for anyone who needs to look 'presentable'.

Patience and perseverance in removing dreads definitely. I had natural dreads (ie no backcombing/product) for over two years (so pretty tight) and it took me a period of about a month to get them all out, so it's not a quick fix for mature dreads. The bunch I had before those took 24 hours to get out though, and had been backcombed in and wax used. Different in different situations.

If you are aiming for tight looking dreads in the period of time OP is looking at, there's probably going to be a lot of crochet hooking going on, and it's that and the backcombing that damages the hair rather than the dreads.

Just a quick point - dreads can be brushed out; it's time consuming depending on how mature they are, but possible. I've done it three times and my hair has always come out in fairly good condition.

Sainsbury's asks for Age ID when buying teaspoons - because they can be used as drug paraphernalia. by geekchicin unitedkingdom

[–]compressedpenguin 0 points1 point ago

I'm a bit late to the party, but I work at Sainsbury's. Teaspoons do throw up an age restriction message, and it is because of their role in the drug taking. Or so we are told in training.

You are very bloody capable of doing it work-wise, but that doesn't mean that you have to if you want to stop. It is extremely stressful towards the end and that is an aspect which you probably will not cope with too well.

Also, don't take the things he says to heart. Reread what you wrote (blaming yourself for asking him a question!!), and consider whether your relationship is a healthy one.

See you soon bro.

Those people have a UK address and educational background. We get our student loans through Local Education Authorities, and if you don't live in the UK, that's going to be a problem. Contact the Unis you're interested in.

Someone referring to any part of you as repulsive is grounds for dismissal. If you are determined to stick with him, get him some easy to read/comprehend books about STDs.

I suggest you read Mark Smith's 'The Early History of God' as a starting point, as it gives good overviews of where Yahweh came from, which seems to go along with what you have been discovering by yourself.

There are actually additional factors that were not mentioned in the OP. The water is soapy and washes you, and you are also spun around. It is an option alongside baths/showers, not for use by those unable to use either.

I used to have a teacher called Miss Sturmy, who happened to be fairly short and stocky. I accidentally called her 'Sturminator' one lesson. She was not pleased.

Such a tiny swimming pool! Perhaps I need to achieve sultan-ship of an extremely minor level in order for it to be test-tube sized.
