50$ wingtips and in terms of shirts go with OCDBs from banana republic J. Crew and H&M even Pacsun AE and Abercrombie can have some good ones. Go to the outlets though, it's cheaper and same quality. If you have the extra cash get the shirts tailored. I know it sounds weird but getting your everyday clothes tailored to fit your body can make a huge difference. Don't believe me? Next time you look at yourself in the mirror reach an arm around your back and pull in the extra cloth above the waist.

Modern Gladiator Arenas, where you fight to the death. Honestly, I'm not much of a sports guy but I could see myself going to a gladiator fight. Because with sports it's a business, the players are playing for money. I'm sure that honor, and bravery, and team pride work themselves into sports, and I'm not saying that a gladiator ring wouldn't become a business (hell it might end up being totally fixed). However, fighting for a ring, or a trophy, or honor, or your family, or your state, or even your country, is never going to be like the fight for your life.

I have these shoes and love them what you need though (like don't bother getting these shoes if you aren't going to wear them with these) are loafer socks. White socks even low cut show on these and completely ruin them. But as long as you have the loafer socks you're set. These shoes are great and last. I'd get them in beeswax they look fantastic with the chinos.

Here's my five cents, I like you love a quality messenger bag So here's some of my favorites

Fossil: Fossil has some great options even though MFA often doesn't seem to like them I have always been very satisfied with their products.

-Leather: Estate Messenger , Portfolio brief a little thinner option from what you seem to want this might work better

-Canvas: Leather reigns supreme but if you don't have the budget (which doesn't seem to be the case here) canvas is the way to go. Olive Canvas Messenger , Octane Messenger I don't like the khaki on the octane but an olive would work.

I would also suggest Geniune Goods a dealer on Etsy who provides leather bags for ridiculously low prices I have This Bag from them and it is amazing, roomy, and gorgeous. This is another option. For this handler some things to note are shipping takes a while, not very long, but it's not going to be on your porch tomorrow (to find out how long it might take contact the handler). Also some bags have been reported as having a very strong smell. Mine did not but some apparently do.

Finally, if you want to look like a real badass professor indiana jones kind of thing you must must must go with Far Horizon Traders. For the roomier bags go with the 8" D Essential Travel Satchel or the Traveler if that's to big for you, which it very well may be, look at the 6"D Professor (I actually think that one was just for indiana jones) or the 5" D Half Flap and Full Flap. These are amazing bags meant to last lifetimes not just 5 years.

When deciding on bags of any type, but especially messenger bags, the thing to keep in mind is space in particular depth. If you don't have enough space in a messenger to hold all your work materials and then some, DON'T BUY IT. No matter how good it looks you will not be happy running down the street with half of the stuf you couldn't fit in your bag falling out of your arms. So those are my thoughts tell me what you think if I'm totally off base or something, and let me know what you end up getting.
