My mom used to work in this office and is friends with many of the people there, including the woman who escaped after being pistol-whipped by the gunman. Freaking glad she's not there now.

The paper I work for is covering it pretty heavily. Only one photog out there (not me), but he's weathering out the whole thing.

Not that I'd be opposed to this addition (It'd be neat for people who need it), but why not simply change the text size to "large" or "extra large" in the settings?

I don't feel as if there's really a need for pinch to zoom when text size throughout most emails is reasonably constant.

That said, why not? I have nothing against the inclusion.

Oh, I agree completely in that case.

I just remember people bitching about every day of a few Steam sales getting a separate post, but there's definitely a reason for that.

Are new deals being added to the "Because we May" site daily?

I really appreciate the daily updates of Steam sales because it gives a centralized place to discuss which games are worth getting and which games to pass up - if this were conglomerated into a single thread, it'd be a cluster.

You're allowed to bring any 3 people with you as long as you take them with you to pick up your tickets.

The only thing it says in the fine print is that if you show up to pick up your tickets without your "extras", you forfeit their tickets.

Probably a protective measure so jerks don't go, pick up four tickets, and scalp three of them at the gates before the show starts. Understandable, but sucks for those of us who want to go early and have friends with other obligations.

I love Feedly and have it on my phone, but I use it alongside Reader instead of as a replacement.

Feedly is great for small amounts of important stories, but it doesn't really work well for displaying large amounts of data in a stream.

Don't be too sad. I own an Evo 3D, which should more than be able to handle the damn game, and it's still marked as incompatible.

Worse yet, it wasn't marked as incompatible when the game first released. No idea what happened in between.

Sometimes you can hit extremes where even RAW won't work properly. I once shot in a school gym so yellow that it was literally off the charts - still yellow even though I manually pegged my white balance to the lowest it could go. Couldn't do anything in LR with it, obviously, because white balance doesn't go any lower in there. Ended up losing the RAW advantage and just applying a blue filter to balance out the colors.

Luckily it wasn't for anything important.

I feel like I'm alone here in saying I've completely grown apart from my love for full-keyboard phones.

Used to be ridiculously attached to having a separate keyboard, but since I've gotten used to improved Android keyboards (and eventually Switfkey), I can totally live without a physical keyboard. Hell, I'd even say I prefer touch keyboards.

Tickets are free and you had to sign up for them a month or so ago.

I'm sure some less-than-scrupulous people will be selling them, but I have no idea how that'll work since you have to have your whole party present when you pick up the tickets on show day.

I guess so, but it's from a conacotv email address and the attached pdf looks completely legitimate with legalese, ticket pick up information, and conan letterhead and all.

I signed up the second I heard about it, so maybe that has something to do with it?

At least a few of my friends signed up at around the same time and still haven't gotten tickets yet, so maybe they're rolling them out gradually with the last wave going out on the 28th?

Mainly because a lot of people don't understand guns.

It's an instrument created with the sole intent to kill someone and it serves that purpose incredibly well.

Not saying that people don't sensationalize the danger of guns, but there's plenty reason to be scared of the things.

I thought FEAR 3 was pretty good and I've played all three. Didn't think it was boring. Maybe predictable, but it didn't bother me.
