As far as I know, they got the OK from ESL already a while ago. And they still scrim like crazy for Kiev and talked about Kiev even today so I really doubt that.

Probably one or more of their players can't make it/have plans. Hard to get 5 people from different countries be available with less than 2 weeks notice.

As I said before, replacements come from the global challenge season ladder. CLG is unavailable, I don't know why Fnatic isn't going but SK was next in line after them.

CLG also replaced the Asian spot at IEM NY if you recall, it's not region locked. Also, it would be hard to bring an NA team in such a short notice.

I really doubt area matters, you may remember at IEM NY the Asian spot was filled by CLG who were rank #1. And Fnatic have 10 points more than SK according to ESL website.

Also, it would be harder to get an NA team in such short notice anyway.

Replacements come from from the highest ranked teams that haven't qualified.

Right now the order is CLG, Fnatic, SK, World Elite. So maybe Fnatic will go instead of goose.

Drawing creep aggro is a very basic pushing tactic, that's not it.

What they do is NOT last hit, they push like maniacs which means they reach level 2 and 3 faster than their opponent and as soon as they have a level advantage they harass hard which usually leads to zoning or forcing a recall and it snowballs from there. I see Wickd doing this almost every game, the only time he loses with this tactic is when the enemy jungler is camping top but then his own jungler can go berserk in the other lanes/enemy jungle so it's pretty much a win/win most of the time.
