I got mine out over the course of a day between appointments when they could fit me in. All four. Freezing, but no anesthetics. I also sneaked in a cleaning. No stitches, they just said "bite down on a tea bag if its bleeding."

You are so close to south east asia. Go have some fun. I did it for 3.5 months and it was not enough (brief trip in china, then the rest of the time in thailand, laos, vietnam and cambodia.) With 9k in the bank, you have WAY more than enough for a real extended stay, and still not be strapped when you get back to "real life."

I honestly have to say it was one of the best experiences in my life. Not in some hokey "it changed" me sort of way, just in an "it enriched me in some way, but mainly I am just really happy to have had those experiences."

Next time I have a little nest egg, it will be hard for me to not be back there.

Thanks. If anyone asks why I don't play TF2 anymore after telling everyone what an amazing game it was for so long after its launch... now instead of complaining and explaining, I can simply show them this one image.
