I have a 1/3 acre lot that has a full perimeter fence including gates at all three driveway entrances, do I need to walk him for exercise still if he has free reign to run around the yard? I'm not looking to shirk a duty, just wondering if taking him on a walk has benefits for a dog, like forcing them to walk a certain distance.
