If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, it's because you are in combat and stopped moving/had no command queued. At that point, your character will automatically pick a target and start shooting. Sadly, this will mean you have you wait out the second or so until you can fire again, generally missing the CS you were aiming for. To avoid this, be diligent in keeping your champion moving at all times, so it never autotargets. You can observe this behavior by hiding in a bush, and having the enemy ward it. As soon as it's warded (and you're granting vision to the enemy team), you will start autoattacking the ward or nearby enemies.

The exhaust port is about 2m wide, which I'll admit isn't much bigger than a womp rat, but still more than enough, even with an astromech in the way.

See, that's just a silly viewpoint. Pentakills have no in game benefit, and trying to finagle them just strikes me as dumb.

Unless they allow you to turn in things without a receipt for store credit. You'd probably get the lowest price the games were ever sold for, but it's still potentially abusable.

I tend to just model it on my character as best I can. I was trying to decide between 2 pieces on the AH, and go get a feel for what 240 armor and 41 resist would do, I just found armor pieces I could remove with approximately equal numbers. Obviously those changes were a touch earlier on the diminishing returns, but it gave a good enough feel that I could decide, "~7% DR from armor and ~7% DR from resists beats out ~7% dps and 14% gold find."

As a side note, do check the AH for reduced level requirement weapons. Level is the biggest determiner of dps, so if you snag a level 60 weapon with 9 or more level reduction, you could be seeing 1 handed dps numbers in the 4 or 5 hundreds. When you do an AH search, they show up by searching for the original level (but display as lowered), so search for level 60s with "Reduced Level Requirement" = 9.

Lets say you have 40% dodge and are wearing a 25% block shield. For simplicity sake, we'll say a block stops 40% of incoming damage, for a total of 50% DR from dodge/block. That means 100 Dexterity gives 1% dodge, which is 2% DR. Now, since you'll be running with the Dex > Armor passive, you'll still prefer Dex for defense, but 1% DR/50 Dex is actually pretty tame. Armor will be giving you about 50% more DR than that per point (at my armor levels at least, 58%).

As a monk, I'd definitely take the 70 Dexterity. The "proper" way to roll as a monk involves taking a passive that grants 1 armor/dex, so each point of Dex gives dodge, armor, and dps. That means the 20 extra Dex is equal to what 20 Dex and 20 Strength would normally give, definitely better than 50 Int.

I'd wager it's most of my damage to packs. I roll with the increased damage rune (20%/stack) over the spirit regen.

They do sell out almost immediately. When you do a search for high grade 60 weapons, you'll see some ridiculous prices, then a whole bunch of stuff with 1 day 22/23 hours remaining. That cycles though very quickly, and people are afraid to nudge much higher, because if you get too greedy, you get massively penalized. At the very least, they could allow you to pick auction durations.

Of course they can. There's some price X which is the highest price you can sell your item for. You take your estimate of what X is, and base your posting methodology off of it. In WoW, you might start above your estimate, and work your way down until somebody bites. In Diablo, you pick the highest price that you're really confident will go through. Everybody will be following this method, so the market price will be lower than if there was no cap.

This isn't a capping issue though. If you aren't downloading data, it doesn't matter. If we're thinking from a cost perspective, this would be for the folks who pay by the minute. That was pretty well gone by 2006 (not entirely, I admit). What I see as being useful is that I can let the installer finish its work as I drive somewhere and the laptop sits next to me.
