If you have a 360 that scratches discs, it's a good way to avoid scratches, since even though the disc has to be in the drive, it's not spinning except when you fire up the game.

Really? Do you have any evidence of that? My understanding was that Microsoft sent them a legal nastygram asking them to change it. If spam filters were filtering out the word 'crap', half of my emails would never arrive.

My own wish list for Minecraft is more about the server than the client, but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with Mojang over these seemingly simple issues:

[1] Version resources in both the client and server (JAR and EXE). That way we can tell what version a file is for certain without setting it up and running it, with all the annoyance that entails.

[2] Upgrade notes and requirements for both servers and clients, including world compatibility and a useful upgrade process (multiplayer and single player).

[3] No forced client updates via the launcher.

[4] A clear client/server compatibility matrix.

[5] It would be useful if there was some way to be alerted on new versions of the server. I've tried to hack something together out of existing resources on the wiki but so far nothing helps. How about an RSS feed, guys?

These are all things that I consider obvious, and their omission is very strange, as if the Mojang developers have never used any other software.

It's not that a specific accent is necessary, just some consistency. His accent slips in and out and wanders all around the British Isles. It's like my own, which comes mainly from watching Monty Python.

"Just a game" lol. I run a BF42 server, and while it has a core of dedicated (and awesome) regular players, we sometimes see some incredibly childish behaviour. So far I haven't seen anything like that on EO. I'm not a big fan of taunting, personally, but I had to at least ask, because that seems like one of the few options for dealing with cloaked intruders. Ignoring/avoiding them seems like the best approach.
