Sorry for noob question, can I still buy no-contract Exynos version from overseas and use it on Verizon's network? Will LTE work? Or does this mean Exynos will not support CDMA/LTE period and if I want SIII I am stuck with Snapdragon?

2012 vs. 1984: Young adults really do have it harder today - The Globe and Mail by Tarretin worldnews

Bahaha, hourly rate? Unless you are in an ivy league law school, top 10% in your class or blessed by nepotism the going rate for contract work (temporary document review work aka the only hope of making money)) is $30/hr or less. Sure if you have a full year of work its an average salary for 1985 but hardly enough to live in NYC and pay off $$200k in loans.

ZvP - Busting the FFE by _M0ist_in starcraft_strategy

[–]blazercist 2 points3 points ago*

It is possible, although I doubt 12 hatch is the answer. I don't think ling/bane is viable, if the Protoss is any good he'll have enough sentry to hold it.

I think a roach/bane all-in followed by wave of speedling is your only option, this is a very gas intensive all-in and I'm not sure if the timing will work out. Busting the cyber will delay his tech, but if he decides to crank zealots you may be in trouble with only ling/bane.

I had this thought recently as well so if you work out a good timing please report back. You need to hit somewhere around the 7:00-7:30 mark to be effective and macro heavily out of it if he pulls back up his ramp with sentry. If it does work I don't think its an instant game winner, but it should slow him down enough for you to take the entire map. You'll need to be wary of retaliatory cheese as well such as DT's and voids if you are successful in breaking the expo.

Edit: The reason I don't think 12 hatch ling/bane is viable is two-fold, one: sentry two: a good Protoss will be very active with his first probe, if he scouts anything out of the ordinary he'll cut probes put up 3 cannons and make sentry.

Re-Edit: Best thing to do IMO is 14 pool 16 hatch, after this is scouted by his initial probe, he will pull back and you should have 4 lings to deny further scouting. At this point you could cancel the hatch and go straight into roach production and simply rally to his base, he should only have one cannon and perhaps a single sentry or zealot. Again, you'll probably need to macro out of this and contain him as he will probably pull back up his ramp and make sentry.

When people exercise aerobically, their bodies can actually make drugs — cannabinoids, the same kind of chemicals in marijuana. by Giambattistain science

[–]blazercist 9 points10 points ago

Okay, nice lay explaining. Now, to confirm what I think I've learned here, what we're saying is that the receptors (square shaped in your example) are meant to accept naturally occurring compounds in the body (that are similar in shape and in effect somewhat to cannabis), however similar these compounds are in structure they have a different effect and are not THC at all.

Now I think I understand all the professors in here that are saying this is not something outstanding or counter intuitive or exceptional at all. If I've understood correctly, the receptors have cubic holes, the body produces cubes when you exercise, THC is rectangular, but it fits the holes anyway (just sticks out a bit). But Cubes != Rectangles and the effects might be slightly similar, but are not the same.

Ha, your response is even more technical than your original statement, but I think I've got the jist. Much appreciated.

[–]blazercist 41 points42 points ago

For a laymen, please? My rudimentary understanding of what you've said here is that the body produces a cannibinoid similar to THC rather than the same thing your get from ingesting marijuana, but that it activates the same receptors in the brain? So to some degree you get the identical effect? Is this the equivalent of comparing say... methadone to heroin?

Houston family says restaurant locked them inside and called the police over tip refusal by kolobianin news

[–]blazercist 1 point2 points ago

Reddit is a fickle beast, it seems that two lawyers and a wiki article are not enough to convince the raging mob. I do see the reasoning for hating on the policy of the restaurant, but ignoring reality by downvoting facts is not the way to deal with it.

I personally feel that it should be illegal for restaurants to force any sort of gratuity regardless of the party size. Gratuity is and should be gratuitous, e.g. the option of the payor based on the quality of service.

The reason BB is going out of business is because consumers with buying power are now tech savvy and price aware enough to be discerning. BB price gouges on a wide variety of small ticket items and can't compete with online retailers on price on larger ticket items either. The only competitive advantage BB has is convenience (e.g. I need this part now or I want to touch/don't care about price).

So, how do you pull off a Stephano 11 min max out? by JaggedOnein starcraft_strategy

[–]blazercist 1 point2 points ago

Go 14 pool, 15 hatch. You should have 2-4 lings out just after the pylon block at the natural. If you spot a pylon block at the natural you should do two things: immediately move the overlord above your natural to your third and send the original drone to start your third. Pull a second drone to follow the probe. As soon as the lings pop attack the pylon in your natural or if the probe goes to your third send two of the lings to attack the probe/pylon/cannon rush at your third. Put down hatch in natural as soon as pylon is cleaned up. This will delay your economy slightly for two reasons: the pylon in your natural delayed your expo and transfer time to your third is greater. For these reasons you have to be very careful to scout for proxy pylons/early aggression, if either of these things are coming it will be just as or just after your third/natural are saturated. Because of this timing I would advise you not to drone to ~65, but to stop at about 50-55 and start making roach/ling in anticipation of the zealot/sentry/stalker and possibly immortal pressure on your third/natural somewhere in the 8-9 minute range.

Also Diamond Z for reference.

Do you guys think that this would work (PvZ strat) by JediMindTricks2011in starcraft_strategy

[–]blazercist 5 points6 points ago

This video is very old. The metagame has since shifted, Protoss normally FFE's against Zerg. It's unlikely that this will work. Also, Destiny lucked out that it was close by air, otherwise the overlord spotting would not make it in time. Finally, this Protoss was bad, he made sentries instead of just pumping zealots.

I don't know about other people, but Protoss is extremely difficult to deal with as Zerg. Pylon walls at the ramp on certain maps, pylon blocks at the natural and ridiculous two base timings make Protoss the cheesiest race by far. I've seen really retarded stuff like Protoss who wall off faking FFE and go straight toDT.

The only way to win in my opinion is a straight macro game 14 pool 15 hatch into a fast third, lots of scouting and suicide overlords, put units on patrol for forward pylons (if he gets a forward pylon down anywhere near your third/natural you can safely gg). Don't fully saturate your third, instead macro up a TON of units crush his two base push and deny his third while you wait for hive to finish and you take your fourth.

Favorite ZvZ cheese:

7 pool, Drone to 8/10 Extractor trick to make 6 lings Rally the lings and hatch to opponent's base, Send 2 drones to opponent's base slightly ahead of the lings popping, Lings and Drones should arrive at opponent's creep at the same time, Make two spines and micro your lings, Constantly produce lings at your hatchery

edit: I've learned that all ZvX all-ins rely too heavily on your opponent making terrible mistakes or not scouting whatsoever. I don't think there are any particularly viable ZvP or ZvT all-ins assuming your opponent scouts and reacts properly, I don't like depending on my opponent to make mistakes to win.
