[Breaking] Google to release 5 Nexus devices on November 5th to celebrate Android’s 5th birthday | TalkAndroid.com by Boynamedstacyin Android

Oh I see. Yeah every 5th of November Brits have a bonfire and let off fireworks to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night. Back in 1605 a guy called Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the House of Lords but he was caught.

Oh. Haha, I wasn't talking about V for Vendetta. I was talking about the actual rhyme. That's what we all say here in the UK anyway. The original rhyme was probably different though. What I put is what everyone in the UK would know it as. Not sure why they decided to put that extra "the" in the V script.

Gonna be super trivial here but you need to take away a "the".

Remember remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

Oops missed that. In that case, take away one "yes" to wanting an SD Card.

My facebook profile pic today also in honour of Bob Moog. We were tracking to tape that day so I guess you could say I do it old-school as well.

I realize I'm not exactly banks' dream customer. Basically I have a relatively low income (approx. £15,000 a year) and no sort of financial security (I'm self-employed).

I currently pay about £250 ($400CAD) a month, so I would be happy to continue paying that.

2) I can make an international transfer through my bank. I've done it before. I don't think there's a limit. It would be a one-off fee which would be nothing to complain about considering I have to pay fees every time I transfer money over.

Depends what plan you get. They're really good at replying to emails so just send them an email with your questions and they'll get back to you right away.

you don't have a very long credit history there (yeah, that sucks) and also your income probably isn't high enough to qualify for an unsecured $30k loan.

Yep.

Maybe you can work out a semi-annual payment plan with the RBC to reduce the amount of hassle?

I never thought about trying this. I doubt they'll do it but it's worth a shot! Thanks!

Well it's 6.5% but I also have to pay these "Loan protecter insurance premium" payments as well. I'm a bit confused as to the terms of the credit line as well. I know that because I'm near the start of my repayment period I'm paying high interest and later the interest will go down. For instance, last month the balance was $29,109.27 and I paid $99.23 to the insurance premium, $126.19 to the principle, and $166.15 interest.

Yeah those were my thoughts exactly. Trouble will be getting a loan that size with a British bank.

I think I'm gonna try to go into every bank here and ask to take out a loan to the tune of how much I owe to RBC. Then I could just pay off my entire credit line and not have to worry about transferring funds, would just have to pay off a loan in this country instead! I doubt they'll go for it though cuz I don't have any next of kin in this country!

Yeah I was doing all apps and data. Should I just do "all apps"?

EDIT: Just had a look, there is no "all apps". Which option should I choose?

What ROM are you using with your HTC One X? by towmiiin Android

[–]bezjones 0 points1 point ago

I tried TripNDroid's AOKP and CM9. They were both super glitchy for me.

I'm using JDroid now but I still experience the odd reboot for no reason and for some reason can't send text messages that exceed more than 1 standard message length.

I might just revert to stock until CM9 officially comes out.

Anybody else have any issues with any of those ROMs?
