Just a note on things from another world: I took an 8 year old I babysit there and I had to smack a few "adult comics" out of his hands. I am not big on sheltering children or anything, but when I left he said something to the effect of "I saw things I probably shouldn't have." ymmv. Edit: I was thinking of floating world comics. Which is cool and has a ton of stuff to peruse, but different shop

The Standard, because they have super cheap strong drinks, most of the bartenders know me, pinball, shuffleboard, and when I used to work at a preschool in the area they gave me the code to the patio so I could smoke cigarettes in a secret spot, away from the prying eyes of human spawn and their progenitors.

The weird thing is it doesn't seem to be dried or cured, just seasoned. All pictures I've seen of it in image search show something that looks like actual jerky. I wasn't totally sure if the store was selling it to be dried at home or something. It was delicious and I'm not sick yet but I want to make sure I want just lucky before I bought it again.

It's sliced thinly and seasoned, but it looks, tastes, and feels raw. It doesn't feel particularly oily it anything.

My mother was in a car accident with a drunk driver when I was little MADD visited her, and asked her to be the face of their campaign to lower the legal limit so people couldn't have even a single drink before hitting the road. My mom told then no, and they freaked out on her ( a pregnant woman in or just out of ICU) they can go fuck themselves.

Next time! She's an extremely paranoid elf ranger that tries really hard to do the right thing until it becomes inconvenient for her. Case in point, we came into a ton of plat and she bought a slave, but was sure to buy an older slave that no one else would want. I'm doing another campaign that's about charismatic fighters next week, I'm not sure to base my new girl of Jenna or Leslie Knope.
