I did try it, and it worked normally. But there have been multiple versions of the article which explains for the other behavior. Link has been updated to reflect that this assumption was wrong. The headline changed throughout the day as the stock price changed. Facebook had an earlier version cached. Which makes infinitely more sense than the conspiracy theory.
