I don't have a ton of time right now to re-read it but I did want to say it's past time that you find your own good therapist. People who gaslight and are psychologically and physically dangerous will continue to be so if allowed. I'm not a psychiatrist, but I am a therapist and she should seriously mentally ill. You both need real help, but your first responsibility is to yourself.

Document everything. Not just for legal reasons, but because it will be helpful tool for you, psychologically. Are you still living with this person? If so, get out now. It sounds like things are just getting worse for you.

Be well, stay safe, and reach out to your friends, family, and breathe some fresh air.

I made this! I'm eating it RIGHT NOW AND IT IS NOMMY.

I made a few changes: I'm in New Zealand and there are no jalapenos here :( so it's only spicy from cayenne. I also forgot the lime juice and used one less can of corn and two cans of diced tomatoes in tomato juice in place of crushed and pureed that you mentioned.

STILL DELICIOUS.

edited to add: you don't get to chose what pronoun you use - it's up to the person you're speaking to/about. Using the wrong pronoun is a terrible way to invalidate that person's identity.
