I remember they said something about evaluating a user's judgement to determine whether their vote matters or if they just spam punish or whatever. They could do it with their first X cases, but that would still affect the outcome of those cases, so it makes more sense to give some cases where they know the outcome to see if you judge correctly. That's the only way a case that old makes sense to me.

And you hinted at the heart of the problem with the immoral/illegal thing. The vast majority (entirety?) of the anti-equality crowd are in there for religious reasons. You don't get more "have to be told what to think" than the religious, since that's how they live. Their preacher, the guy on FOX, some bronze-age goat herders on shrooms, anyone they interpret as a "good" source they just believe without thinking. I'm honestly going to have to say that Kennen was just bad. Darius is strict melee with short-ranged skills and no gap closer. Kennen should be able to engage only on his terms, barring ganks.

I was hoping to have someone new to poke to death as Teemo, but seeing that his E range is higher than my autoattack range, I'm nervous about that matchup, though hopefully Blinding Dart and/or Move Quick will be enough to handle that.

The more widespread the knowledge is, the faster Riot fixes it. See: the mastery hack for 105% CD reduction on Summoner's that plagued China for weeks/months and was fixed in 2 days when it spread to America and lots of people complained loudly.

And the 50% off becoming 50% extra doesn't add up. It should be 50% off becomes 100% extra. 50% is 1/2. So you pay 1/2 the normal cost. Now take the inverse and it's 2/1, or 2. Not 1.5. So you pay double, not price-and-a-half. Thus, 100% extra.
