I'm fair-haired, so you can't see the hair on my fingers unless you look real close. I periodically get a jet-black hair about half an inch long, straight-up, on one knuckle overnight though. I'm curious about this one too.

Unique is relative; there's no such thing as entirely unique. I like Mastodon better than Baroness, because I think they write better songs, but Baroness did a better job of writing immersive, cohesive albums the first couple of times around. The jury's still out on whether I still think that to be true...

I almost want to say this sounds too polished, but that's not even the problem. It just sounds too much like generic and predictable hard rock. I'm not going to say "sellout" until I hear the whole album, but this is pretty disappointing to someone who absolutely loved the band's unique sound on the first two LPs.

I'd like to see Helu get the plurality of carries, but the Skins can afford to spread it around. No workhorse on this roster, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. You gotta wonder if somebody like Clinton Portis could have had a more explosive career with the Skins if he hadn't been a total workhorse for a few seasons (I say probably not; the system wasn't great for him).

My mom picked up my ipod a couple times and listened to my most recently played song. First time it was a song by Opeth and the second time it was Electric Wizard's "Dopethrone". For years she has literally thought that I worshipped the devil. When I went to my first metal show, my folks saw mostly dudes outside the place when they picked me up and were convinced that I had gone to see a show at a gay bar.

tl;dr My parents are erroneously convinced that I am a gay satanist for the music I listen to.

Kyle Busch being a nonfactor is definitely a surprise. He usually waits until the chase to disappear. Also, the fact that Junior has continued to run so consistently well without actually contending for a win is rather puzzling. MWR of course is a pleasant surprise.
