Oh shit, my bad. You're absolutely right. It actually is a partial agonist at 5-HT1A, but an antagonist at all the other 5-HT(Serotonin) receptors. Good catch.

I dunno about LSD/Mushroom effects, but at high THC concentrations hallucinations are certainly possible, especially CEVs and Auditory Hallucinations. I remember once when I hadn't smoked for months I ended up in a circle with like three pipes being passed around, all packed with dank. We ended up going to our regular bar and there was a band playing. I sat on this bench and closed my eyes. I was having serious colors and shapes playing before my eyes. It was awesome.

I am unsure if that constitutes a [10], but it was at least a [9].

Just for reference, Trazodone is a SARI. That is, Serotonin Agonist Reuptake Inhibitor. It agonizes (activates) serotonin receptors as well as inhibiting reuptake (making serotonin available in the synapse for longer).

It would make sense as a trip killer as it agonizes many different serotonin receptors and many psychedelics act on those same receptors.

Is this some 12-step stuff? I ask because they're referring to a "spiritual awakening" (a staple of 12 step groups) and that there are 12 symptoms.

This would probably also be a list of symptoms for self actualization if we place it in the humanist context.

SSRI's have no abuse potential. I've heard the odd report of people using Wellbutrin as a stimulant, but even that's super rare...and kinda stupid if you ask me.

Oh, I know. I'm simply saying that it IS the official diagnostic manual of the American Psychiatric Association. I have basically no faith in that organization. The DSM-V field test findings are showing that their diagnoses are pretty fucking deplorable. The kappa scores suck.

I think the diagnostic manual needs to be put together by psychologists, not psychiatrists.

It's in the DSM-IV-TR. It is therefore (for the time being at least) accepted by the American Psychiatric Association. I am unsure as to what the evidence is, however.
