I have been selling these vehicles since 2006. Since then my sales have been on an consistent incline of about 12% each year. This past year there was a little bit of a lul in the market but it was more in our earnings than it was units sold. In 2010 I sold 94 cars. I live in a small town so this is a great number. In 2011 I sold 96 but my income was down by about 10%. This is due to a few things. BMW cutting our profit margins on certain models as well as BMW's focus on units sold and not so much gross profit. If you are good at what you do, you will always do well. There are plenty of salesmen out there that focus on the negativity instead of what they are there to do.

I did not go to post secondary. I talked my way into the job from the wash bay when I was 18. charisma and product knowledge goes a long way.

I am not Jewish and I think that is quite the ridiculous assumption. haha - I have many friends that are in the business all over southwestern Ontario and I don't think 1 is Jewish.

I can make as little as $300/car up to $2K. I am around 6-10 vehicles a month. I have 4 sold right now. Unusually slow this month. If we weren't making money, BMW wouldn't be one of the best global brands. There is no set "closing system". Everyone is different and you have to feel out every situation differently. I am able to desk numbers, I like to keep my self out of it though. "The manager makes the decisions, I will present your offer."
