Its a long exposure shot (I'd say 2-5 seconds) which makes the water look like that.

Misleading photo lead me to believe this was a huge sink hole of igneous rock somewhere on the Oregon coast. Turns out its only about 3 meters in diameter. Oh.

I have two friends who do it and they love it. I wanted to apply this year but I promised someone earlier I would live with them. I highly highly recommend it. Nothing beats living on campus.

You save so much money on bills and rent. If you are good with people and friendly and likeable, you should go for it.
