In t2 it only worked fully when the sensors were up. It was quite limited otherwise IIRC it would only show team members when they were in visual range or in your base. It was a real incentive to have gen and sensors working.

Oh god when you are coming into temple on a diagonal route it can be very hard to see the pillars for all the labels, then smack.

T2 had visual notifications on a few command most noticeable was when someone called for help their chevron would be highlighted. They also showed up in the command circuit.

Honestly though i spend 80% my time capping but it is fun sometimes fun to do base assault. The fractal does wonders for clearing the crossfire flag stand, you easily get quadra kills and win the game because people can get high speed grabs.

Fraps drops my FPS down to 12 when recording, after burner doesn't effect it at all.

Afterburner work quite well, it doesn't have as much of performance impact as fraps and is free.

If an enemy stands directly below your flag stand on crossfire and jets up to under the flag it sometimes fixes the issue, they should be able to grab the flag that way. Its only happened to me 3 times and only on crossfire, this fixed it twice.

I think they are using the same mesh for both the flag stands in tartarus and crossfire.

odd question does anyone else have an issue with jetting immediately after a DJ? If I don't leave like a .5s gap or jet before my jet pack does not work.

Once you hit level 7 you will be bumped into general matchmaking, you will encounter a jump in skill level as the big boys come out to play.

Though good on you have you played much CTF or just TDM? Light offense is quite rewarding, also many a heavy on flag(HoF) love some light defense to pester the offensive juggs and raiders.

The targeting laser certainly. Yes being able to bring up a map(command circuit) that shows where my team mates are was awesome and super useful. It also made the sensors important.

I really miss the visual indicators when someone calls for help. It is hard to tell who is who if you are a moderate distance away or hell even in what direction to head.

I don't get it Hi-Rez has all this stuff available to them, they copied the [VGS] sounds board directly from Tribes2 why didn't they stick them in.
