yep same here. my dv6000 had mother board issues from the day i got it. eventually wifi stopped working and finally the thing simply died due to numerous known defects.

haha so true mine stopped working about 2 weeks after the extended warrenty they applied to the known defect had expired

Man HP is easily the worst brand i had to deal with.Laptop i bought wouldnt charge. Tech support told me it was the charger. sent it in got a new one and still didnt charge. tech support said i got 2 bad ones. sent it in got a new and still didnt work. tech support said i must have gotten 3 bad chargers which i said take the whole laptop back and figure out why it wont charge. they take it and it disappears for 2 months. after speaking with numerous people in india i finally get us support who promised me a laptop soon. i find out they switched it from XP to Vista once i got it..... that damn laptop was junk from there on out , breaking one month after the warrenty expired on a known issue on the stupid mother board.
