I guess you missed the part where those exact same "most people" all have iPhones, and have for a couple years now?
People that are not into tech don't even know what an operating system is. How could they know what the hell is the iPhone running on? IMHO you should keep that in mind.

I've re-edited the title and the content of the article due to all the comments we've gotten on here.

Yup. Next thing we know, we'll be driving Google Car and taking our kids to Google School.
Less people are going to use Twitter's search to find the conversations they want. And on top of that the whole conversation will be displayed at Google. So why even visit Twitter?

Why thank you :)
You can watch sports live on the internet. IMHO this is only a matter of time before all this develops into something greater and the TV is forgotten completely. -Eddie.
Oh. How could I forget to add a link to my post...

Samsung Galaxy Tab video preview. by TechGooin gadgets
I should imagine they will have hands free or something similar so you could talk w/o holding it in your hands. Else, you would look stupid speaking to a tablet on the bus.
And as for the transitions, as I said, they might not be there because the tablet is not really out yet. However it could end up not having any at all. I'd like to think it will have transitions though.
I don't think you'll have to hold it up to your ear or something. And the battery life should be pretty reasonable. Also I assume this is not the release version, so I expect it to be buggy and slow. That might explain the transitions. Shall we wait for more specs? :)

DX9 vs DX10: Is it really worth sacrificing some FPS? by TechGooin gaming
Or it just renders more fancy stuff and costs more resources.
Well when you go to a place you can take many different roads, some take longer than the others, but they get you to the same place eventually.
That's what I thought as well.

Tablet fever! HP is planning to offer Windows 7 and webOS tablets by TechGooin gadgets
You might be right. But what does Android have that Chrome OS does not have? I'm pretty sure that the Chrome OS build will be customised to suit Googles tablet.
I never really understood what a tablet was meant for tbh... If it's for internet browsing and such I'd much rather get a netbook. More functionality, and most of the times it's even cheaper.
I just do not see the Windows 7 tablet succeed in any way. Windows 7 might be the most commonly used OS nowadays, but that does not mean it's right for a tablet. Seriously... What are they thinking?
