One evening I was on my way from a kegger to a party when I saw a foggy field and decided I wanted to run through it. The grass was wet and I slipped into a ditch. I crawled out of the ditch and tried to stand up, but fell over. A friend I had been walking told me to lie down as I was apparently squirting blood out of my right shoe every time I put pressure on that foot. Turns out I had severed an artery and two tendons by cutting myself on a damaged sewer culvert. I have some permanent nerve damage as a reminder of my stupidity.
