Yeah, that's the one, King is much worse.

I was reading that and just knew it was Toronto. Queen St W & Dufferin, right?

What story do you tell that no one belives until you provide proof? (NSFW pics inside) by Leuffenin AskReddit

My sons middle name is "M", because he was already burdened with a shit-storm of syllables with his hyphenated last name so it seemed like the humanize thing to do.

The second kids middle name is "J", just to mix it up.

I think what MartialFur was getting at is that if he "didn't give a fuck", he wouldn't have pulled off the role as well as he did. To borrow the parlance of our time, fucks were given.

Doesn't the backup QB have to play against the 1st team defence in practice? Poor, Stafford.

I can confirm this. Not a month goes buy that my wife and I don't discuss the idea of renting our place and using the income to buy something else.

I live in a town home on the other side of Bathurst and our neighbour rents out her unit 1200 sqft for $2800/m. It's a pricy 'hood for rentals.

Facebook IPO flop drawing increased scrutiny - SEC Calls For Review of Facebook IPO by Billisticin business

[–]Spazsquatch 1 point2 points ago

Unfortunately I'm going on information I put in my head a decade ago, so I don't have a source and I could see it being irrelevant if you don't favour a value-driven approach to investing.

Facebook's IPO was actually a great success form a seller's standpoint. They sold the shares and appear to have sold it at the absolute maximum price they could. That's the goal of every IPO, which makes it a poor time to invest.

Facebook IPO flop drawing increased scrutiny - SEC Calls For Review of Facebook IPO by Billisticin business

[–]Spazsquatch 2 points3 points ago

An IPO is almost always a bad time to buy a stock because the seller has 100% control of the price. Falling from an IPO price is pretty common.

There are exceptions, but in general don't look at initial public offerings as an investment opportunity.

My iPhone 4S's battery has started draining a lot faster recently. by Joseph445in iphone

No problem, I had a fast draining battery on my old 3G and a system restore put it right back to normal.

Do a system restore first, that's going to be the genius second suggestion (after physical battery check) and it will probably do the trick.

This thread has taken a really strange direction, the dead pigeon was a joke, that's all.

I grew up in Michigan, spent my 20's in Minnesota and my uncle in-law has a couple hundred acres up in Muskoka that he bought for hunting before it became the weekend home for Toronto. If I wanted to learn to hunt, I would know how to hunt by this point in my life.

Yeah, one is something you eat and the other was the punchline to my joke.

I live in downtown Toronto, that dead pigeon I'm passing up isn't really the making for dinner and hunting in my neighbourhood is a good way to get arrested.

...hmmm, free room and board. That's frugal living.

I would argue that the grocery store is on my walk home from work, but then I'll probably pass a dead pigeon along the way too. I'll call it a tie.

Jim Harbaugh: Michael Crabtree has the best hands I’ve ever seen by sil0in nfl

Calvin Johnson vs. the best hands in the league? Bring it on!

Seriously, if I didn't love the city of San Fran so much, I could really get behind this rivelry.

[–]Spazsquatch[S] 1 point2 points ago

But once people hit thirty, the vast majority have just outgrown smoking.

I'm pushing 40 and half my office smokes, although I work in the arts, so maybe that is the issue. I think people outgrow the hassle of getting weed when it is easy to get drunk.

Detroit hasn't won a championship since we had a drunk throwing the ball, so I don't want to hear about the evils of alcohol.

What do you think of the 90% number when he was playing? Keep in mind he was a lineman on a good Lions team. A team that at the time was considered one of the the better teams in the league.

When he says 90% smoked, I take that to mean that he knew a couple of guys who didn't.

Maybe Barry retired cause he was sick of his jersey smelling like pot.

Ah man, I'm feeling a little self conscience that the only two people to call out Smith are Lions fans.

So basically he gets the 100k plus some and doesn't have to buy the ring. If the guy isn't genuine, he's a fucking genius.

[–]Spazsquatch[S] 4 points5 points ago

Because of the Lions recent trouble I've seen the rules laid out a couple times recently. I'm join g from memory, but as I recall...

Are players regularly tested for marijuana in addition to PEDs or does testing for marijuana only start after a marijuana related incident?

Only after a marijuana related incident are players subject to random testing.

What happens if a player lives in a state where either marijuana is decriminalized or medical marijuana is available, when they aren't technically breaking the law for consuming it?

It is against league rules regardless of its legality in the region the player lives, but since testing only happens after a legal incident, if it were legal in a region I don't see how the league would take notice.
