I don't know.... all those rotting corpses mulching the earth for the vegetation to grow again.

The secluded osaku in China where there, so too where the chavs/trailer chavs hanging around in the middle of city centres getting into fights and petty crime. Then you've got the dead-eyed commuters sensually brushing up against each other without being aware of it.

From these observations, I'd say the mice behaved just like humans in our society. I'm worried about when women start eating babies, but we'll work and that when it becomes a problem.

(Personally I love the closeness during a commute on the train)

Low childbirth with a smaller population is MUCH better than a low childbirth rate in a huge population.

I can't wait! Guns, fight for survival..... will I be one of the competent ones?!

At least I get to shoot the people on the sidewalk that just stand around with their mouths open, in the way of everyone.

Maybe there's some Japanese game that only works on XP, and lots of kids got pirated XP for Japanese new year or something?

Self-guided bullet developed by Sandia Labs can hit targets a mile away | The Verge by redditchulousin gadgets

[–]SarahC 0 points1 point ago

and if they can accurately aim the laser at the target, why couldn't they just shoot a normal bullet themselves?

I know, a laser beam drops a lot due to gravity, and the wind... damn - if I could control a light beam in high winds I'd be a magician!

There really is no point to this bullet! Have you got any ideas?

I think you may have misunderstood me, and I'm going to start by saying I am an aerospace engineer who 'should' know what he's saying, but am prepared to be schooled if it turns out I am wrong on this.

I shudder at what they're teaching in schools these days. =P

It would counteract wind sheer - something a sniper can't do predictably, because they don't know how strong the wind will be in flight.

I wonder if the collective mind remembers World War 2 in the UK... it was harsh for the Japanese people living there. I'm really not for multiculturalism... there's going to be another war in the future... then what does the UK do with 10% of the population identifying with the country they are at war with!?

5.6 million people have moved their bank accounts in the last 90 days, with 610,000 citing Bank Transfer Day as their reason by DoremusJessupin business

You see, it costs BoA, Wells Fargo or whatever big national bank you use a lot more money to maintain your measly little checking/savings account than it's worth to them.

What?! Have you got the spreadsheet? They have millions of accounts, taking up a little bit of disk space somewhere.

All the money gets pooled and invested in what the bank sees fit. I find it highly unlikely they make a loss on small accounts.

I was with Barclay's for years, always paid everything on time, and saved. It didn't effect anything when I had financial trouble. It had gone from personal service to a small information page about my account with "important comments" at the bottom of the screen listing non payments.

Loyalty doesn't exist any more.

Yeah - every month they get everyone's pay.... it's not sitting doing nothing, they invest it, make money off it.

And they CHARGE us to lend it them!?

Cheeky fuckers.

Yet you loaned them ALL your pay that month to invest in how they like.

Thanks to XP and VMWare Workstation - I can run most programs that I can in Windows 7 - but in their own virtual machines - future proofed, faster, and with the ability to copy "licensed" software at will!

I've got a collection of fully licensed computers on a couple of hard disks now.
