I love Western films so it stands to reason I'd love Western books. What are the go to recommendations in that genre?

You know how we all have those actors who just irritate us for no reason? Mr Eckhart's that dude for me. I know he's a decent actor and I've liked all of his roles Ive seen. He just comes off as really bland to me.

I wouldnt mind him playing Jake, he'd knock it out of the park Im sure. But I think there are better choices out there.

Who do you think would be a good Sadie? Natalie Portman has the chops but maybe not the height haha

The unconventionality is what makes her attractive(gorgeous) in my eyes. The world is filled with cookie cutter beautiful women. It's the ones that have quirks about them that stand out as stunning, I find.

I got the same sort of effect with my phone's camera. Using my truck as the backdrop I was able to capture it pretty well, I think.

It is also (very)slightly physically addictive as well. It's just that the withdrawal symptoms are so minor it's almost silly to even call it an addiction.

So I suppose my answer to the thread would be:

"Marijuana is not physically addictive."

Shame, 11/22/63 is fantastic. Anytime someone complains about recent King Ill cite it as proof positive he still has it. The book has somewhat of a climax early on about 20% in. If you make it to that and STILL have little interest I dont know what to tell you. Jake is without a doubt one of my favorite protagonists and I loved all the references to IT.

Really, give it another go. It's completely worth it. Awesome, awesome book.

It's from a book called "The Wastelands" which is the third part in King's "magnum opus" The Dark Tower.

If you've seen the film The Mist, based off a Stephen King short story, these are some of the creatures that came out of the mist.

I never implied tits and gore alone make a good film. A film aimed toward an adult crowd doesn't necessarily mean "omg I needs blood and boobs". It could be anything from a WWII film to a sci fi epic to...The Dark Tower...(a man can dream).

I cannot be the only one who'd like to see what Pixar could create without the constraints of child appropriateness.

From all the responses so far I feel like everyone's assuming I just want them to create a movie about naked double d'ed ninjas beheading murderous nazis. And while on second thought that sounds awesome, I wasn't exactly referring to that type of tale.

Simply a film that doesn't need to take into account whether it's appropriate for children or not. I'm sure there are some amazing stories to be told that might not fly for 5 yr olds and it doesn't make me a boorish person for wanting to see them.

I'd like to see Pixar deviate from their well beaten path and do something a bit more aimed at adults.

One risque film won't cripple their reputation and I have a feeling we'd get something jaw droppingly amazing.

It definitely seems like the opposite of the right way. If the aim is to make women have less complexes - putting down an entire body type is very ass backward.
