I always play as Washington, and I always take all of Hiawatha's cities except one, then throughout the game I give him small cities I conquer with poor resources to increase my happiness.

Ah well. Still I would recommend it as it's pretty fun although playing a game takes a while so be prepared to set aside 3-4 hours for a game.

I feel any insurgency should outlast this period. From Sun Tsu to today, war historians talk about the extreme difficulty to not just capture enemy cities, but hold them against an uprising. We as Americans have learned this hard reality from Korea through Iraq. I wish it was implemented in the game to improve realism.

upvote for terrorism. Not real terrorism, that would get a downvote, but in the game terrorism should be an issue. Possibly after taking a city, insurgents can arise depending on that city's population / production.

I wish there was elements like this in future sim games. Insurgencies after a city is taken over. Terrorist attacks destroying current productions. You can deploy Special Forces troops into loyalist owned encampments. We could limit it to the countries that live around oil resources. Oh and Predator Drones would be awesome as well as a new unit.

Since Civ 1 I have played for one victory, domination. I keep countries around to trade with, and to let them grow, so I have to make less settlers to turn the whole map blue. I also always play as American.

As soon as I capture a city I have it produce a courthouse. Once you have enough cities you can produce some Colosseums and the like. Ive never really had a problem with unhappiness.

I do use coretemp. The 4 temps all are betwen 69 - 85. If they hit 100 my system shuts down.

When I go to the properties of CivilizationV.exe I dont see "local files" as an option.

I monitor my temps of my CPU's not my GPU, I'll try that as well.

Its random. Every game I play, once I get a lot of cities and units, it crashes.
