That guy sucks, all engineers should avoid taking a class with him if possible. I had him for Thermo and he blew hard, especially compared to Hurt (who is a badass).

D1 = 514, Alpha = 511

I own three pairs in different colors, and I love them. Similar to 514s, although a little slimmer in my opinion. My legs are too big for 511s so I've never bothered with Alphas; D1s are the next best thing.

I wear Levis 514s, and for me the D1s feel about the same. My calves are too big even for 513s (let alone 511s) so I prefer the D1s to the Alphas.
