It may have been soon enough after, before the second plane hit, that people were still thinking it was just an accident. I remember I was working in DC at the time and someone came in the office and said a plane had crashed into the WTC tower. We just said damn, that sucks and went back to work for a bit. We actually didn't realize how much shit was hitting the fan until we heard the explosion from Flight 77 hitting the Pentagon. All of this happened in a little under 1 hour I believe.

I really don't think so at all. I live in a semi rural area, can hunt and fish to my hearts content. Have a shooting range at my parents house I can use anytime I wish. Have access to land I can hike, ride, bike on anytime. Have a garden I grow some of my own food in. Yet I have a good job, decent income, a warm dry place to sleep every night and I can get pizza delivered any night of the week.

Tried swype, didn't care for it, just didn't seem natural. I just touch type, but again the longest things I find myself typing are a few paragraphs, and that's rare. Maybe I'm not using my phone like everyone else, but I just very rarely have to type more than a few sentences, and for that the onscreen is just easier and more convenient.

I suppose it was just a lot of practice, I don't use any add-on keyboard, just the standard android one. I've just gotten used to using it. However I will admit I leave longer communications and emails that need to be more professionally formatted and worded to my PC. I plan to get an S3, I'll be interested to see how the bigger screen works with the onscreen keyboard. I really think it just comes down to a matter of practice.

On the actual topic: Why can't people figure out that if this actually effects your life, then you are absolutely NOT Verizon's target market? The old unlimited plans are the same price as the current 2gig plans. That means this only matters to you if you are on unlimited and using more than 2gig per month. If that's you, then Verizon would very much like to you to get the hell off their network. If that's you, then Verizon WANTS you to throw a hissy fit and go to some other carrier.

If that's you, NOBODY wants you to be their customer. They want your mom to be their customer. They want your idiot boss who can't figure out his DVR. They want your little sister who tweets and checks her facebook every 45 seconds so that her monthly data usage sometimes gets as high as 800meg if there's a big scandal at school. They do not want the guy who is burning through 20gig worth of data by streaming music all day long and using a rooted tether to his laptop for videos rather than paying for cable tv.

So, are you on unlimited and using more than 2gig/month? If not, why bitch? It doesn't effect you. If you are, why bitch? Verizon wants you to leave.
