Reddit, as a classical musician, tell me what we could do better. What is it about classical music that keeps you away from our concerts?

It can't really be the price as almost every organization has cheap tickets the day of a concert

Er, yes it can. I don't know about you, but I'm not of the habit of saying, "Hmm, what shall I do tonight, oh the <x> symphony are playing tonight and have spare tickets so they're cheap".

People need to arrange things in advance, babysitting for instance, or transport to/from the venue etc.

To say that cheap tickets on the day nullifies arguments about the price is to completely misunderstand the way the world works for the majority of people, and continue to re-emphasise the opinion that classical music is for rich people with lots of free time and resources to be able to make it happen on a whim.

Students from outside the UK/EU have always paid full tuition (which is even higher than £9,000), the increase in fees for UK/EU students has no impact on someone coming from the USA.

All the stations in the city centre are on the Wirral line that goes to Port Sunlight, so you don't need to worry about which station you're near. EXCEPT Central station is about to close for an age, so that one won't be useful.

Not sure where's best for accommodation, unfortunately.

You can't cycle through the tunnels, but I think you can take a bike on the ferry, but I'm not sure how useful that is.

EU regulations on emissions and crash-worthiness are just as stringent as in the US. And your point about diesel is a bit off the mark, yes there are lots fo diesels, but our petrol ones are also generally more efficient.

Something to be aware of, when she wakes up properly, she may not remember ANY of it due to the drugs. So she's going to wake up in your room and have no idea why she's there, so be prepared to reassure her and show her the paperwork if she's freaked out.

One thing to know, quite a few of the commercial ones are made from maille made on a machine which means their time cost is very low.

What you need to work out is how long it's taken you to make. If it's taken you 40 hours then charging just $100 values your time at $2.50/hour if you don't include materials.
