A question about attraction/gender expression by gefthe8thin ainbow

you are a pretty notorious cissexist... I mean "disagree" as you like to call it.

It would be nice if more cis queer people would take the time to learn more about trans issues and terminology and what not... but I'm not holding my breath- I know many trans people who don't even take the time to learn about this stuff.

For future use, and yes, I know they can see this. by KarmaLogBotin TransphobiaProject

[–]MissJess 1 point2 points ago

what's wrong with that guy? he really puts a lot of effort into "disagreeing" with pretty much anything that gives validity to trans folk- does he think he's doing good? Do you think he's proud of what he does?

I feel so blessed to live in Seattle- we have a couple all-inclusive queer parties each month where all queer people are welcome... the latest party had a bunch of trans people running around naked! It's just really awesome to live in a environment where I feel safe and welcome to be out as a trans woman.

Lately I've been so proud of my transness so much that I want people to clock me as trans... But I know others don't want to hurt my feelings to even if they do see that I'm trans they're not going to say anything.

you know what happens when someone breaks the circlejerk right?

I've become used to getting banned from random subreddits but even this elicited a WTF by Logical1tyin WTF

i told my parents at that age and they just shamed me until I became a weirdo introvert, suicidal, depressed, insomniac... and because all that baggage of shame and self-hate I didn't start my transition until 28.... now for once in my life I'm doing great.

when I met my partner she knew little of the Simpsons, now she quotes them more than me and I've seen all 505 episodes.

it would be if I wasn't so proud of being trans- i wouldn't ever give up my life to be cis.

ugh, there's no reason you should feel bad- express yourself how you want, when you want and don't feel embarrassed.

i think i might have people following me around... i get hate mail once and a while form people who don't like transsexuals.

There was a big blow up there last year when yellowmix block this article

but most who aren't cissexist didn't care... although someone made this sub in response, but it's not very active.

in /r/feminisms some are defending it... also yellowmix blocked the article at first see

and this isn't the first time they've been sympathetic towards transphobic/cissexist garbage

I've been going to feminist meet-ups, open mic nights, rallies, and so on but I have yet to meet one of these transphobic/cissexist jerks in person.

I hate the stir the turd but yellowmix is once again being sympathetic to transphobia and cissexism as you can see here

[–]MissJess 1 point2 points ago

what's inflammatory about it? refusing to acknowledge and respect a transsexual’s identified gender, or denying them, access to spaces, organizations, or events designated for that gender is transphobic.

this isn't the first time I've seen you be sympathetic to transphobia and cissexism.
