This is actually an affliction, and hyperextending like this a a bad idea if you plan on living longer than 50 years or so.

Apparently you think reducing debt is the same as saving money.

Ask your bank manager to explain why this isn't so.

Protip: Printing money is easy and fast.

And that is exactly what is going to happen, because there is now more than 60 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. It is 100% obvious that this money can never be saved or taxed - so it will simply be printed, stealing the value of that money from all Americans.

1) OP chose a really stupid title. 100% bullshit.

2) You are an idiot too. The picture is obviousness itself. So you should feel shame.

I guess OP is trying to suggest that each of these bullets would have found a home inside a nice warm human body.

But of course, he's an idiot.

Because in both world wars, tens of thousands of bullets were fired for each injury sustained. So the chances of these bullets actually having someone's name on them are virtually nil.

What many people do not know about war is that 80% of ALL soldiers simply fire their weapons into the air, and NEVER EVER EVEN ATTEMPT TO SHOOT AT THE ACTUAL ENEMY.

Very careful research has showed that 2% of the soldiers do about 90% of all the killing. Most soldiers simply did not have what it takes to be soldiers, and could not even fire at the enemy. They could make it LOOK like they were, but as soldiers, all they were was targets for the 2% of enemy soldiers who actually took aim at targets.

I'm an english teacher in France and this was my 13 year old student's counter-argument when I corrected his spelling of the word "through". by nashk13in funny

[–]M0b1u5 -3 points-2 points ago

I think that in many parts of the world "thru" is acceptable spelling.

However, while acceptable, it should only ever be used where the word "through" will not fit. For example, in adverts, such as "Monday thru Thursday".

The use of "thru" generally indicates that a person is lazy and stupid, but it is technically correct. THE WORST KIND OF CORRECT.

Protip: secondhand smoke never ever proven to harm non-smokers. Do some freaking research. It might not be to your taste, as it smells bad. But it doesn't do you any harm.

The cigarette WILL NOT WORK.

HOWEVER, dropping a lit match into a gas container is highly likely to cause an explosion if the vapour ratio is correct, or a fire if it is lower. BUT MOST LIKELY THE MATCH WILL SIMPLY DROP INTO THE GAS AND GO OUT.

This because the fuel/air ratio is critical to combustion.

But let's get one thing clear: a lit match has more than enough temperature to ignite fuel vapour, whereas a cigarette does not.

[–]M0b1u5 -4 points-3 points ago

NOPE NOPE NOPE.

It doesn't even matter if you create a vapour rich atmosphere (of ANY ratio!) and warm it up: YOU CAN'T IGNITE PETROL VAPOUR WITH A CIGARETTE.

I did experiments with my Dad (see my other comment) and it just doesn't work. EVER.

Protip: a lit cigarette is not capable of igniting petrol vapour OR liquid UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER.

It is 100% safe to smoke while filling your car with gas.

What is NOT safe is your cell phone, or your lighter, both of which are capable of creating a fireball.

When I was 10, my Dad and I spent 2 month performing experiments (we went much further than the Mythbusters crew- even going so far as to create a high pressure environment, and then saturating the vessel with oxygen! We also made a machine which smoked the cigarette in about 2 minutes, making it as hot is it could possibly get) to attempt to ignite petrol liquid and vapour.

We were never once successful.

It turns out that the maximum temperature of a smouldering cigarette is still around 80-100 degrees too cool to EVER ignite petrol.

But that doesn't mean other things won't!

In our experiments we discovered that dropping an object made of iron on concrete would often create a spark and an ensuing fire/fireball. We also discovered that cigarette lighters (even piezo ones) will readily ignite petrol vapour. Even the tiniest spark is capable of it.

And I bet you don't turn off your cell phone when you fill your car!

If by "completely", and "I mean completely" - what you ACTUALLY mean is "Not complete in any fucking way" then yeah: "completely".

Seriously, what sort of fucked up, shitfaced, turd-brained, fool can't see that the seats are not disassembled, the car body is not disassembled, the wheels have tyres mounted on them and that numerous other parts are not reduced to their components?

Why would you make an obviously false assertion and then fucking reinforce that assertion with repetition when you know it's not true?

I can't figure it out, except to offer that attempting to get to the front page with lies is a stupid and childish thing to do.
