Purchasing a new battery was the greatest decision I've made in a while

I have a Nexus One, haven't noticed any problems with the battery, I still get ~36 hours on average with normal use. Have you tried any of the battery resetting/recalibration tricks that are out there? Each time I do them I see a noticeable increase in battery life.

Minimalist doesn't have to be useless at all. Swipe-able docks, homescreen gestures, and invisible icons can give a very minimalist look with tons of functionality.

IIRC the max number of times you can have smoked is ~15 these days. If you only "remember" having smoked that many times you would still be admitting your habit but you would be allowed to get in.

If you aren't willing to bend the truth a little bit, be prepared to not get into the military.

Also, and this is PURELY anecdotal, I have heard stories of people who lied about such things when enlisting, but came clean during their security clearance interview and said it wasn't a big deal. The clearance people care more about you being honest at that moment than the past. Again, take this with a huge grain of salt, it is purely anecdotal, but I have read at least 2-3 such stories.

Had my Nexus One fr over 2 years and it's in Excellent condition, a few millimeter size scratches around the edges, otherwise it's flawless. Never had a case or screen protector, I just don't drop it or put stuff in the same pocket with it.

The issue is though that it's not really 'ruining' MMOs. WoW has 10 million subscribers. They wouldn't have HALF that number if the leveling experience required group play.

The harsh truth is that "single-player" MMOs generate WAY more revenue than a mandatory group model would. Whether grouping would improve the actual games or not is irrelevant, the vast majority of customers demand a game that can be enjoyed solo.

I imagine it makes quite a loud noise when being ripped open, maybe that's their solution. Though it does kind of defeat the purpose of the packaging in the first place.

Spider-Man was released May 2002, a time when showing the WTC at all would have been very controversial. Additionally, comic-book movies weren't as highly regarded as they are today, and it would probably have been seen as being in very poor taste.

How come I've not seen anyone talking about the Motorola/Google Glass connection? It seems like an incredibly obvious one. Google needs a company to actually make the Glass hardware, and Motorola seems perfect.

Because in most MMOs a vast majority of players will spend the vast majority of their time at level cap and not in the process of leveling. Once you realize that it makes less sense to spend a ton of time making the entire process amazing. Add to that multiple characters and what might have been amazing the first time around is decidedly less so the next half-dozen times.

The problem is that most people are complete idiots, and forcing people to play your game with complete idiots will not make them want to play the game for much longer.

MMOs have to have a solo component, or else you alienate people who don't have friends they want to play with/whose friends don't have the game.

The problem comes from the basic leveling structure of most MMOs. In a word, it's pointless. You level solo so that you can do end-game with other people. Leveling is a chore to be gotten out of the way before you start the 'real' game. Companies realize that most people enjoy solo leveling and so have structured their games around it.

Pretty useless article. It's clear Blizzard is trying to keep players from using inflammatory names, and it looks like some stuff slipped through. We can sit around all day debating whether they SHOULD do this, but I expect more of these names to be removed as possibilities in the future.

I think the picture is talking about the good guys knowing what a huge threat the bad guys are, yet taking FOREVER to return fire or engage in any kind of offensive maneuver when the enemy finally catches up. The good guys always have to take a few hits first.

The odd thing is, though, they seem to be presenting these tips as exclusive to these champions (as if someone warding top tribrush will help Darius specifically to avoid early ganks). I fear there are many players who will simply be confused and use what should be universal tactics on only the champion that featured that tactic in their spotlight.

Then again, people using those tactics on even one champion is better than none.
