No, I avoid the southeast side of town due to its irrelevance...jk. The only place I ever see traffic backed up bad is from 77-485 right at 51. I guess I usually get frustrated far before making it to 521 :)

The issues they are having with traffic on 485 do not happen in Ballantyne, so I'm not sure how this would produce anything.

Not sure how you aren't familiar with them, most of them are the bigger places to go uptown. Not a big Town Tavern fan, but the rest are pretty solid with some drunk bowling in the middle.

Nope, I haven't noticed it at all. The only heat issue I've noticed is when I leave an app on and in GPS tracking mode in my pocket (think pedometer+gps). I'm regularly on my phone for 30+ minutes multiple times a day during the week with conference calls at work.

  1. It doesn't take me 30 minutes to update my Xbox (it does at times on ps3). I've literally had to wait 30 minutes to play a few games after inserting the disk to download updates. This usually takes under a minute on Xbox, even at peak.
  2. Xbox Live keeps getting updated to keep it fresh. The benefit is if you already have services like hulu plus, it's the best client I've ever seen.
  3. Video Chat, Party Chat (both in and out of games)

I just wish they would bring back 1v100...

It may be just me, but my two favorite places in NC are Charlotte and Asheville. Neither would classify as a small hiway town :)
