So long as drivers are opensourced and the dev community lets me keep up with AOSP releases. I fell for this phone because of the "google experience" label.

That bomb got nowhere near a plane and it was a sting operation. How is that hard to grasp?

There isn't even a cursory connection between the TSA and this underwear bomb plot.

Smartphone-maker LG Electronics has backed off producing Windows Phone devices for now and will instead focus on Android phones by silence_hrin Android

I have the G2X, loved it when I first got it. Now I'm at the point where it's time for the ICS upgrade, and it's nowhere. There are a few roms, but nothing I'd be real confident in.

I won't be buying a LG device when I upgrade. In fact, I'll only buy a mid life cycle device with a healthy dev community. No closed drivers (LOOKING AT YOU, NVIDIA)

Shame, really, this was supposed to be a "Google Experience" phone, which was why I bought it. I'd like to punch the LG marketing team right in it's stupid face.

Android fans: pay for your apps, please by BigMike86in Android

I've never pirated an android app. I do pirate other stuff, but my pattern with android has been to use the free versions and buy the premium versions of critical or heavily used apps.

Iran Reminds Us That it Controls a Lot of Oil - As the U.S. preps further sanctions against the Iran, the nation wants us to know, by the way, that it controls the Strait of Hormuz, through which a huge chuck of the world's oil supply flows. by anutensilin energy

On which border is the US a military and economic threat to China? If you're suggesting the US has a military presence in Pakistan that threatens China, then my response would have to be gut busting laughter. If you're suggesting the American presence in Afghanistan is a threat to China...well, let's just say I'm eagerly awaiting your thesis.

It seems to me China's foreign policy is geared toward non-confrontation. China seems much more likely to seek an alternate route for Iranian oil to flow through Pakistan than engage in hostilities in the Gulf. Too much to lose, too little to gain. China has plenty of cash to invest in energy infrastructure. Running a pipeline through Pakistan would be far less expensive in both economic and geopolitical terms than backing a globally disruptive play like closing the Straits, US aggression or no. China's position, from what I've read over the years, has been geared toward multipolar diplomacy and away from the use of its military. They've got hundreds of millions of people to lift out of abject poverty, and as such are more concerned with supply chains and commodity prices than going to war with it's largest trading partner.

EDIT: Bonus points for describing how China would project force in the Persian Gulf.

Everything I've read indicates the US is perfectly aware that striking Natanz or another enrichment site wouldn't destroy or substantially impact the Iranian nuclear program. Add to that the very real war fatigue pervading the American electorate and Iranian capability for reprisals against American and allied interests in the region, and the current policy of sanctions and containment is plainly the intent of the US, not another harebrained shooting war in the Gulf.

But let's assume your unsourced scenario of an unprovoked American attack on Iran occurs: You still haven't shown why Iran is more important to China than the US.

EDIT: Punctuation.
