Any chance the school board is trying to protect the guy by letting him go quietly? I mean, unless I missed something in the article, he's made no comments about this. Perhaps there is some unsavory business going on, and this is the guy's way out.

You set up a company to make an MMO, decide to get a single player game out there to get some money. Alright, that sounds fine. Other companies have done that.

Require a game to sell 3mil copies to stay in business?! That's complete insanity. Schilling (who I like) reached way too far with this. Jumped right into a high overhead game with a brand new studio, without building themselves up first. A fucking shame.

They were both written by Paul Dini as well, who I would say is the best writer for the Dark Knight. He created Harely Quinn, re-wrote Mr Freeze from a C-list villain into a tragic character, and created the entire future Gotham universe of Batman Beyond. An amazing writer.

I'm also sick of people treating ActiBlizz like anything other than a greedy company that puts profit way above gameplay. And before anyone replies -- yes, you can care about profit and your customers at the same time. ActiBlizz just doesn't.

Tera certainly isn't the perfect MMO. I personally had fun in the early levels, but the game really begins to shine after level 20. That's clearly a design flaw of the game.
