Yes, he helped create the problem. But in order for this problem to get fixed, more people in his position need to come out against what is happening. They, the extreme right, aren't going to listen to any leftist that start calling them on their shit. We actually need more right wing reporters to speak up on this issue.

Yoga began as a way for monks to prepare their bodies for sitting in meditation for hours/days. The earliest known yoga poses are basically a seated meditation pose. What we, westerners, do for yoga has only been around for a few hundred years.

There are actually 8 limbs of yoga. The poses, asanas, that we think of as yoga are actually only 1 limb of the 8 paths of yoga.

Well besides the fact that I am a yoga instructor and ever since I started practicing yoga I've never felt more at peace with myself. But I don't follow the beliefs of demonic possession and all that jazz. Yoga has been nothing but a positive influence in my life and you're trying to tie it to some fictitious belief in demonic possession and satan.

Yeah man no worries. I'm not married either but I know the whole being able to visit your loved one is a big deal. There is a history of people not being able to see their sick/dying partner in the hospital because they aren't "family".

Being able to put your spouse on your insurance. Visiting your spouse in the hospital. Filing joint tax returns.

Those are just a few examples of things that come with marriage.
