In the end one of you needs to be the grown up and act responsible. If it's not going to be your mother, like mine, then it needs to be you. It seems ignoring your mom is the only thing that really gets through to her. So do that, for a longer time. Get it through her brain that if she is going to act like a child, your going to treat her like one and ignore her. It is a hard lesson, but you need to love yourself before accommodating others.

Yes but I would still buy a Ferrari even though I would prefer it in a Aston Martin body if what im buying it for is racing. If im buying it for looks, the the Aston wins hands down, imho, which in the end means bugger all to all the Ferrari lovers out there :) .

Exactly, I wouldn't buy a ferrari cause it looks shitty. Oh wait, that's my preference and allot of people will probably disagree with me. The fact of the matter is, this is not a BAD looking phone in any way. It may not be everything YOU wanted, but like the ferrari, under the hood is what we ALL want :) .

edit: comparing saab to ferrari... seriously? Thats like comparing Apples with Apple, you can kind of see the connection, but no.

Functionality over form. It means something. I do like nice designs, personally I do not like the glossy back, but that doesn't make it a bad product.

It irritates me that people think lightweight feels cheap, but complain if its too heavy and "bulky". This is called progress people. It doesn't matter if it "feels" flimsy/cheap, its performance that counts.

Your mostly bashing the design, which mtmannion clearly states is something they are not slating and that its a personal choice. Just because it doesn't have the wrapping paper you like, doesn't mean there isn't a great product under neath it.

It depends. They said they wanted to do it right then and their in the entrance of the emergency room was because the ankle bone was pushing really hard on the skin and it could have broken, which would have made everything worse.

This happened to my dad at work. We met him at the hospital as they were taking him out the ambulance, never heard him scream like that before or ever since. They said they were going to pull the foot out and pop it back into the socket. They gave him morphine and told me to hold him down (im a rather large guy), the morphine done bugger all, almost through me against the wall.

Rofl, that's a great idea, I am a fan of the Hunger Games books. Though you really should watch Cabin. The reviews have been great and its pointing to it being something other than a normal horror movie, almost verging on it being something new.

I was pretty much in the same boat and read both those series you liked. I am now reading the Mistborn trilogy, it is great, I am on the third book now.
