I had the same issue. My wifi card sits right above my graphics card. Once I switched to the gtx 680 with it's closed blower design I have had no issues.

I don't understand why people hold up the iPhone as some kind of lagless wonder. Fresh formats of iOS are generally very good. Once you start to accumulate usage it will become quite laggy. I am constantly waiting for letters to populate after typed. Waiting for screens to transition. A new GS2 or a new One X I have found to be just as lagless as a fresh iOS install.
