I think he referred to the composite plug as being obsolete.

It's either something very old or newish that doesn't appear on a lot of monitors people still have in their homes.

Same here. It's way better and I honestly felt similar to Torchlight 1. It was mostly grind back then, but now it's way fun and you get lots of loot to go through.

You can't blow things up by attaching explosives to them via grappling hook in Diablo 3 though.

Keep in mind I'm just saying what others are saying about. Most of the people here are assuming its just my opinion.

And you're right in a way, but Commander mode would of just done the same thing in pubs. People say the same thing about any teamwork oriented game, save TF2. It wasn't too much of a problem. Dice divided the abilities among the classes, but I feel that all of it is still lacking in some way. It just doesn't feel right. It's why /r/badcompany2 keeps getting "So I played BF3 and I came back to this..." threads.

If you want my opinion, I think BF3 is still fun. But then again, I didn't play BF2 competitively, or did much PR, or anything like that. The people with the glasses on have a valid point; that it's just not the same. Dice did make it more accessible to the pubs, and that was the point. They just didn't make it more for the fans and the hardcore players.

tl;dr I think it's improved BFBC2, but that's a problem in itself due to the fact that they're supposed to be styled different.

I bought the game on release. I've been lucky usually, but yesterday my friend couldn't get into a game for 30 minutes due to random quirks and "Oops, something went wrong."

It's buggy, crashes, people hate Battlelog, singleplayer sucks, lacks polish, no in game voip, more bugs, and imbalances every patch.

Just go on /r/battlefield3 for 5 minutes.

EDIT: To clarify, I bought it on release. It can be quite fun, but some of the things that they left out are just silly, like no text chat in co-op. Then there's the fact that they got rid of commander mode, condensed the classes, made the engineer a do-anything class, etc.

I could go on with the bugs and quirks, but as I said, the subreddit sees a lot of it.

I got stuck in the rocket building. Everything spawned in the same place and nearly crashed the game. It happened with the dino shop as well.

I stopped playing because I couldn't get into places like that.
