He must have been driving someone else's car. by jaredefin atheism

It's got to the point where I read the first half before realising what's coming, then I just laugh that this guy has invested so much time doing this one joke. I also enjoy when people reply thinking he's actually trying to be funny.

No, there isn't a set of rules, it just means we don't believe in a god. Other than that people have their own opinions.

I've no idea sorry, it took me long enough to work out how to just log in now it's completely changed. I remember a bit asking about my email, but I think that was just extra security. Is there no password recovery service that uses your email? They normally tell you the user name too I think.

I actually went back on today before seeing this post after something reminded me of RS. It's so different and I found my player hadn't a single item on him or in the bank. Then I remembered the day I quit I started making people do races around Varrock for my items. The winner got something good, the loser got a guam leaf.

That was so good though. Being a low level in the wilderness with a few mates, then you'd see shit loads of people and run off, all split up wondering who of your mates were still alive. Randomly today, before I saw this post I happened to mention something that reminded my mate of RS, so we both logged on to see what it was like. It was so different and we logged off again within seconds, can't beat the old days.

Does anybody know of any cheap hostels in New York? by Hara-Kiriin nyc

[–]Hara-Kiri[S] 0 points1 point ago

I'll check those out, thanks a lot. I stayed in a sort of hotel hostel mix a couple of years ago in Manhattan, I didn't think it was too expensive but checked and it was around £120 (not dollars) per night. $58 isn't so bad, we were looking at one in Brooklyn which was £40, not sure how that converts but I believe $58 is cheaper.

Well I'd say an hour tops outside of Manhattan, looking for something between $30-70 for a shared room I guess. We've seen a few places that match that but they don't have rooms available for our dates. It's by no means the end of the world if we have to pay more, just might have to cut back on a few of the more expensive things we had planned to do after NY.

Can anyone tell me where this is?? Its a long shot. Its my dad sometimes in the 70s. by adapotatain pics

I did check to see if it was him after reading it, but it wasn't anywhere near weird enough.

My roommate is a scientologist. He left this packet full of "donation" rates. check out the price of clear... by ScienKnologyin WTF

What..? He didn't really say anything, just kept going around and around in circles. I watched it to laugh at what he believed, but thought he would at least be forming sentences about it.

I did an art related course in college, then Illustration at university, but neither really taught me to paint, it's just been trail and error. I'd say I've done around 10 portraits before this one, in about the last six months but before then I just did illustrations. This one took around 60 hours, and was sold for £400. I do have a website but my mates working on it at the moment, if you check my submission history a lot are there though. Hope I've answered everything!

I suppose it really depends on what you're trying to create. If you want it to be lifelike and look like a person then it helps to know what other people think are off, after you've looked at something for so long it's hard to tell yourself.

It's already sold, I do take commissions though if you're genuinely interested.

The colours are much more normal in the painting, it seems to have lost the actual colours in the scan.

If you zoom into the painting you can see eyelashes, they just aren't that prominent.
