Since it is the same day as RiverFest 2012 our plan was to organize a meet up at that. We will figure out the logistics as we get a big closer to the actual date.

It can depend on how quickly you can grab people off the wire. For some people it is very doable, for others work or other concerns usually mean they don't get the info quickly enough to act.

I decided to start him. Most of his year hasn't been bad and there is this idea he tipped his pitches vs Cleveland. I think he will end up doing ok today.

Gallardo is a very good pitcher while Willingham at true talent is more of a decent OF. Gallarado is the better player to my mind, so from a talent perspective it is the right move to my mind.

Found some good priced cheap comics and graphic novels. Buying art directly for the artists is really cool, too. Got some original art at good prices.

There are alot of artists there and you can talk to them but also commission sketches which is nice. There is also quite a bit of original art to purchase and the prices are often pretty reasonable. It is pretty fun just wandering around and looking at stuff. As you would expect there is also comic book dealers and you tend to be able to have lots of comics and graphic novels at big discounts, which can be a nice way to pick up stuff you missed. I had alot of fun last year.

Yeah last year was alot of fun! I picked up quite a bit of original comic art and a bunch of cheap comics. Very relaxed atmosphere to just talk to creators.

Chase. They were building a really interesting universe with the 70s era heroes and the DEO policing metas. Thankfully quite a few threads and the characters were picked up by others (most notably Manhunter and now Batwoman).

The ones I read were pretty hit or miss. If you just like Power Girl I think they are worth giving a shot as they offer some amusement.

The later issues are more ok than in the same tone. I think they ended up better than I expected they would be, but looking at them now is probably not worth it unless you get them super cheap. Not the same level of fun.
