Twice. During a family/friends BBQ at my house. The kids were playing behind the house. They started screaming, then a man comes around the house hauling ass. I didn't have time to really think. All that went through my head was kids screaming, stranger running through my yard. As he's rounding the corner of the house I stand start running as the stranger comes through the front yard I leap into the air from a sprint and tackle his ass to the ground, he keeps fighting and I keep his face planted in the grass as hard as I can press. Instantly cops are surrounding us I'm thinking damn they were fast. They cuff him and I start looking around. No cop cars. Apparently this jackass had just tried to rob a local grocery store and the cops were in a foot pursuit with him. The cops then had me confront the subject and tell him I'm placing him under citizens arrest. Second time I was in a truckstop in Joplin missouri, while I'm climbing up into my truck a bum grabs my pocket going after my wallet I put a boot in his face while we are rolling on the ground we are pulled apart. There was an undercover cop dressed as a bum they had been doing an investigation due to a lot of robberies at this truck stop. They also had me tell this jackass he was under citizens arrest.
