Police Beat Man Then "Chest Bump" Each Other to Celebrate by m_bowersin Bad_Cop_No_Donut

I posted the comment only so people will have proper context. Redditors get pissed when they call the police to protest an old repost. I've seen it happen.

You would need to delete this post to fix it so don't worry about it. This happens occasionally with a few nefarious types that recycle old clips as new to drive hits to their pages. I would be weary of linking to PoliceProcedure.net or fcdepty now though.

I found older dated versions by searching for the following on google:

Misleading datestamp of May 22, 2012 on this YouTube post.

This happened February, 2011. Officers John Doyle and Robert Woolever were fired after initially being cleared by a police internal "investigation."

Baltimore police officer Salvatore Rivieri was fired for that and recently lost his court appeal to get his job back.

Wisconsin police insist family bring cash to bail son out of jail so they visit several ATMs. When the cash is presented for bail, police claim drug dog alerted to the money and confiscate it. No bail and no receipt for the money. by FritzMuffknucklein Bad_Cop_No_Donut

It's common knowledge that dogs alert to drugs on almost all currency. StumblyMcStagger linked to this 2009 CNN article that estimates an average 90% alert rate in the US with 100% in major cities.

Is there a UK BCND? by MotoHiashiin Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]FritzMuffknuckle 0 points1 point ago

You will find news from all over the world here. There are several articles here from the UK though the US does seem to dominate submissions.

There are probably a few reasons for this but my bet is it's due mostly to the US having the worst police systems among developed nations.

Nice piece on blogger Carlos Miller of "Photography is not a Crime" by monabonain Bad_Cop_No_Donut

I'm still trying to figure out the implications of a fusion center monitoring Carlos and sending notices to police where he is expected to turn up. How can they legally do that? Have they labeled him a terrorist?

NY Stop and Frisk lawsuit granted class action status for over 100k people who have been stopped by police since 2005 without reasonable suspicion. by FritzMuffknucklein Bad_Cop_No_Donut

Pdf of suit at Courthouse News.

As for "saving 5600 lives," there are easier ways to save many, many more lives by applying the NYPD logic of safety. For starters, drop all speed limits to 25mph in and extend yellow lights by one second. This would save over 10,000 lives. Easy.

I hate when stats get abused to justify crap.

The author would have more credibility if he hadn't thrown in the hoax video at the end.

Meanwhile, citizens and a 'top cop' slam the shooting inquest conducted by State Police.

Harding says that 80 percent of a police shooting investigation typically occurs in the first five or six hours. Here, the State Police, aside from issuing a pair of press releases essentially blaming the victim, have released little– even denying multiple requests for the name of the officer in question.

The fire suppression accidentally went off and submerged planes in foam. by [deleted]in pics

My nephew's dog was named Tank. Stupid kid accidentally locked the dog in the car on a very hot day and it died. I was pissed and asked him if he knew what he had in common with the A-10.

Once you reach the quarter mile mark and they are still chasing you, they aren't honeybees.

Keep running and don't go for water unless it's a swift river that can quickly carry you away. Try this only if you know how to swim and haven't eaten anything in the last 30 minutes.
