I easily believe Ron Paul would poll in double digits as an independent, but I find it doubtful that he would pull his numbers from Obama's base and not Romney. Rasmussen is a republican-biased polling firm--I wouldn't be surprised if this poll was ordered by partisan sources to dissuade Romney from taking Paul's implied third party threat seriously.

Anybody in a union is probably overcompensated. That's the main reason to have unions--to use collective bargaining to receive employee compensation above fair market rates.

My wife and i were married on top of a mountain by a retired judge. Our parents did some readings and the vows were not religious. It was a 20 minute ceremony, followed by 2 hours of cocktails. Then a chairlift down to the bottom of the mountain where we all had dinner. I doubt most people noticed the lack of religion.
