Hidden Epidemic: Tapeworms Living Inside People's Brains. Parasitic worms leave millions of victims paralyzed, epileptic, or worse. by allliein science

science always has had censorship and group think, professional science from day one has been about money (salaries and grants and empires), its always annoying outsiders who come along and upset the applecart.

a lot of people who end up sponsored 'musicians' by the big music industry labels went through acting school before they were selected to become miming pop stars, the music industry finds it easier to promote pop stars that know the basics of acting even if all the acting experience they ever had was the Fame or Glee schools.

My brother died today, at 28 years old. I've never had to deal with the loss of a family member before, do you have any pieces of advice you could offer? by Jinjitin AskReddit

The best advice towards drinking is dont drink every day or more than three times a week., friday night saturday nights yes, then give your body a rest. Dont let drink become a habit or a crutch.

Its mainstream culture (worldwide) to respect the dead, we honor their memory from their living time and protect them to their final resting place.

part of the reason theres a wake and the open casket or closed casket, is to protect the body of the departed one.

We honor the memory, and also honor the protected status of or departed ones, making sure they go safely to their final reseting place.

Also often the reason dead people get returned home when they die away from home.

How One Flawed Study Spawned a Decade of Lies by ChadR44in science

[–]Ferrofluid 2 points3 points ago

and bad (lazy and dishonest) journalists too, these are the people who pretend to be experts and propagate lies.

Because whenever a TV program or show or news article does a piece on something, theres this implicit understatement thtat they have professional researchers behind the TV show that know what they are talking about or doing for the program.

The reality is that 95% of journalists are professional liars for money, copy paste PR marketing monkeys.

AGW is vastly more complex and potentially costly than 95% of people can grasp, its the journalists and people who cannot understand science that are the problem.

On the other hand thirty years of modern data does not make for AGW, no matter that AGW people prefer modern data as its computer readable...

Dragons also hate chickens (goats/trolls/bears/cats/fish/people), watched one (from a distance) get medieval on the chickens on the ground at the farms outside Whiterun.

Decided to celebrate lvling my pickpocket. All of Riften looks like this. by Celesmehin skyrim

[–]Ferrofluid 1 point2 points ago

Its a shame you can loot clothes and armor off NPCs, but they will not put on clothes/armor you donate by reverse pickpocketing into their inventories. It would be handy if a towns guards gained better armor to defend against dragon attacks...

One handy thing to do to safeguard the Riften/Riverwood inhabitants (from thieves and also the bow kill crazy guards), is to remove the bows from the guards, and donate decent weapons to the civilians.

One occasion both Lucan and Camilla were killed by arrows from guards after a thief went through Riverwood, another occasion three Riften civilians got mowed down by arrows from guards during a thief chase.

Every little old lady needs a broadsword etc.

On another note, after completing the Civil War quest for the Stormcloaks, removed all the weapons from the disgruntled Imperial Yarls and followers in the the basement. Add a frenzy potion or two and mayhem ensures, strangely a few of them seem to run upstairs and purchase weapons from Stendar, I noticed several weapons being wielded I had just sold her.

The three execution hoods you can loot at the beginning of the Dark Brotherhood questline, these are most desired by companion NPCs, they will wear these over any other headgear, including the desired glass helmet.

They very rarely can be found elsewhere , say in Radiant Raiments and similar.

Found a group of horse haters. Has this happened to anyone else? by superninjaladyin skyrim

I was wandering near Whiterun with Lydia, Whiterun was Stormcloak, met some Imperial soldiers with a Stormcloak prisoner walking past Whiterun, Lydia attacked a wolf, the prisoner ran from his guards and also attacked the wolf, Lydia attacked the Imperials, then she went nuts on some Stormcloak soldiers who cam out from Whiterun, mass deaths with no bounty. I calmly just watched the mayhem from a distance (fully sneaked out and almost invisible), it was dusk and hard to see who was who, I just counted the bodies in the morning.

Very strange situation.

theres that chase scene from Dark Knight, there has gotta be some innocent casualties from Batmans pursuit through populated areas. He smashes cars and things out of the way.

Near Ivarstead I believe.

when doing power attacks and a special move kicks in, say a decapitation or sneak throat slit, the game will switch to cinematic view from 1st anyway, for the kill.
